Police and thieves – Alleycat

This weekend was the official opening of The Bike Club Barcelona, ​​a bar-shop-workshop that aims to become one of the best places of the city.

To celebrate the opening, they did the best combined: alleycat + prizes + beer and food. Winning combination ever.

The race didn’t disappoint anyone. An infart circuit and a scoring system to give it a more exitement and it allowed that more people would opt for the top prize.

The race operation was simple. There were 6 mandatory checkpoints where riders earned 5 points for each of them, also they had the option of making some extra points by test (+5 ) or, well, attending optional checkpoints (+10). The rider who got more points in less time, would be the winner of the race .

The results were:

  • Winner: Daniel Márquez ( 1:37:57 )
  • Girls Category: Maria Rig
  • The fastest rider to complete the mandatory checkpoints: Beto de Alva
  • Best costume: Paul Moraga (Osama Bin Laden)

For the prizes, there was a Aventón Mataro for the winner, a Bern helmet for the best girl, stand bike made ​​of wood by 2con7 for the fastest runner, and a set of wheels by Bikeit for the best costume. In addition to these prizes, there were gifts thanks to The Bike Club , Santa Fixie and Two Wheels Fuel 4 Life.
