New SOLO by Alba Optics

Inspired by those adventures when you spend all day long riding and walking from dawn to dusk, exploring, discovering, and enjoying nature on your own, your own thoughts, and the immensity that surrounds you. With this concept behind is how SOLO was born, the new model of Sunwear that the young Italian brand, Alba Optics, released a feel weeks ago.

Conceived for both adventure cycling and other outdoor sports, the new SOLO is inspired by an old model of glasses (like most of the other models of the brand), in this case, the classical model Aviator from Ray-ban. Based on this model, the guys from Alba have been able to modernize and rethink the mount to adapt it to the environment and scenario in which they would be used.

One of the most memorable features of this model is the removable flap (or lateral shield) that, besides adding a nostalgic retro look, is designed to protect your eyes from crosswinds and dust particles on the sides, which also helps to focus your sight forward.

Alongside the presentation of SOLO, the technical team of the firm has developed two new pair of lenses VZUM™: the ML KING and the photochromatic ML F-LENS BEETLE, both available for this model.

This new mount is available in several colors, it weighs just 38 grams (including the lateral flap) and, like in the case of the Stratos, it counts with a telescopic adjustable temple tip to be able to adapt the length for each user.

Lastly, a little detail we have also loved is the nylon drybag that has been designed to store and protect the goggles in the most faithful bike-packing style. Impermeable, foldable, and perfect to carry around in any adventure that shows up.
