These days, it is strange to find someone who has not heard about The Service Course, a business purely focused on offering a complete cycling experience. Located in Girona, one of the cycling Meccas, it is composed of a broad spectrum of services, custom handmade builds and rental options, events, and unique travel experiences, always with unconditional quality.
Ever since its opening in 2016, The Service Course (TSC) rapidly became a reference in the sector and everybody is looking forward to what Christian Meier and his team will come up within the following season.
Well, it appears that 2020 comes fully charged with surprises, starting with the expansion and opening of a TSC in Oslo (Norway) and Wilmslow (United Kingdom). This is just the beginning of a growth strategy to take the project to a completely new level, a new era for TSC.
In addition to the announced openings, TSC remains attached to the most exquisite brands on the market, and next year we will find the release of more adventures abroad, epic community experiences, new builds and a few other surprises, soon to be revealed.
Behind this great effort, we can find new investors such as Simon Gerrans (ex-rider of the Orica-Scott and BMC Racing teams), Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon SRAM Racing), Michael Woods (EF Education First) and Edvald Boasson Hagen (Team Dimension Data), all of whom are personal friends of Christian.
The Service Course Oslo
The recent opening of The Service Course Oslo in November 2019 was the first page in this new chapter. Locals Jonas Stromberg and Henrik Orre (Vélochef) are leading the project in the Norwegian capital, in association with professional Norwegian cyclist Edvald Boasson Hagen. The objective is to offer all the services currently found in Girona, adapting the project to the needs of a colder climate. For instance, there is an indoor training facility with personalized training plans available, without the challenges of the rough Norwegian winter.
The Service Course Wilmslow
They are opening in January but they have a “festive preview” starting with a ride hosted by Simon Gerrans on Sunday 15th December. More info on their official site and social networks.
